Latest: KoM Wilds Guide

Overview:

The titles that are arranged in a grid around your city are called wilds and they can be seen on the world map.

Bonus:

There is a certain connection between each wild and each resource (with the exception of Bogs and Plains). The following wilds are very important if you want to obtain those resources and to increase your City resource production:

Mountain – can help you obtain Ore
Bog – cannot be attacked
Grassland and Lake- are going to provide you Food
Hills- is a perfect wild if you need Stone
Plain – can help you build a second city
Woods – is exactly what you need if you want to obtain Wood.
You are free to choose if you want to show the level of each wild or not. You can do this by pinching the map with both fingers if you have a touch screen device. This way you are going to find wilds of a certain level easier and it is way better than touching them individually.

Troop Composition

If the wilds are not occupied then you can be sure that they will contain Goblin Troops that must be destroyed in order to own that wild and to obtain the bonus. If you lose the battle or if you abandon it then the Goblin troops are going to return and you have to start over if you want to conquer a certain wild.

If you want to know the troops composition then you should carefully read the following lines:
